2000-
This opener was used from about mid-2000, very similar to the opener used before it (below). The main difference was the change of name from 'Seven Nightly News' to simply 'Seven News'.
2.20MB Melbourne (Oct 2001)
1.12MB Perth (2001) Evan Davies
933KB Brisbane (2002) Jason Campbell

2000
This opener came with the total revamp of Channel Seven in 2000. It did not last long however, as it was replaced by the above opener in only a few months.
1.29MB Brisbane (Jan 2000) Evan Davies
761KB Sydney (2000) Jason Campbell
1999
This opener was used for a short while before the total revamp of Seven in 2000. It was the first opener to use the updated music, and also getting rid of the SEVEN NIGHTLY NEWS capital serif logo. The Brisbane opener was original, using some parts of the generic opener but staying with the capital serif logo.
174KB Brisbane (Nov 1999) Fintan O'Mahony

1998-1999
A very nice opener, with brilliant graphics. This was the last opener to use the capital serif letters logo. It was adopted by regional affilate Prime Television. To the right are also graphics for Today Tonight, Seven's current affairs programme.
2.12MB National (Mar 1998)

1997
This Sydney opener used the same video of the harbour bridge in the background as seen in openers from the late 80s. It was adopted by regional affilate Prime.
936KB Sydney (Apr 1997)

1992
Nobody Knows News Like Seven
A promo for Seven News in Sydney featuring Roger Climpson. The catchcry 'Nobody Knows News Like Seven' was used for many years after, and the music in this promo could still be heard almost 10 years later. The SEVEN NIGHTLY NEWS logo in capital serif letters had just been adopted when this promo was used.
371KB RV8 Sydney

c. 1990
I'm not sure exactly when this opener was used, but it was in the early 90's sometime. It was adapted from NBC in America.
